The health benefits of spirulina are undeniable. Spirulina is hailed as a superfood that promotes body and brain health.  This blue-green “miracle” algae grows naturally in oceans and salty lakes in subtropical climates.

Abundant Nutrients For The Body

Spirulina is rich in nutrients, some of which aren’t found in the average daily vitamin. According to the FDA, the health benefits of Spirulina include significant amounts of calcium, niacin, potassium, magnesium, B vitamins and iron.  Spirulina is a great source of B-complex vitamins, beta-carotene, vitamin E, manganese, zinc, copper, iron, selenium, and antioxidants.  It also has essential amino acids (compounds that are the building blocks of proteins).  In fact, protein makes up about 60 to 70 percent of Spirulina’s dry weight.

An Antioxidant Powerhouse

One of the health benefits of Spirulina comes from its antioxidant properties. Spirulina protects our cells by warding off inflammation and other diseases in the body.  Spirulina has been shown to positively reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering “the bad” LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in the body while promoting HDL “the good” cholesterol.  In higher doses, spirulina could reduce blood pressure.

It’s Full Of Protein

Anemia is a fairly common ailment which can lead to fatigue due to a reduction in hemoglobin or red blood cells in the blood.  When one’s diet is supplemented with spirulina, it has been documented that hemoglobin content of red blood cells increases.

Spirulina has 4 grams of protein in a single tablespoon making it a more concentrated source of protein than red meat and only 20 calories.  With a high concentration of bio-available iron, it is excellent during pregnancy and for those with anemia as it will not cause constipation.  The health benefits of Spirulina are compounding in the body as the proteins and nutrients are bioavailable and easily absorbed.

Detox The Body

The health benefits of Spirulina include its ability to detoxify the body. It is great for cleansing the body of heavy metals by binding to them and removing them from the body.  Evidence suggests that it can bind to radioactive isotopes and may be useful for radioactivity exposure or radiation therapy.  A combination of zinc and Spirulina may help the body clear arsenic of people whose drinking water has unusually high levels, according to the National Institute of Health (NIH).

Prevent What Ails You

Many people promote Spirulina as a treatment for a range of metabolism and heart health issues, including weight loss, diabetes, and high cholesterol, according to the NIH.  The health benefits of Spirulina help a range of eclectic health problems, including premenstrual symptoms and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease), according to the NIH.  People also recommend Spirulina as an aid for various mental and emotional disorders, including anxiety, stress, depression and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

It’s Nontoxic

Toxicological studies of the effects of spirulina consumption on humans and animals, including feeding as much as 800 mg/kg, and replacing up to 60% of protein intake with spirulina, have shown no toxic effects.  Fertility, teratogenicity, peri- and postnatal, and multigenerational studies on animals also have found no adverse effects from spirulina consumption.

Doctors consider Spirulina to be safe in general, especially in light of its long history as a food.  Spirulina may become contaminated with toxic metals, harmful bacteria, and microcystins — toxins produced from some algae —if it is grown in unsafe conditions.  Be sure to buy Spirulina from a trusted source and always buy organic when possible.

Get Some Today

Spirulina is available in tablet, flake and powder form.  Adding a tablespoon a day to your fresh green juice or to 8 ounces of water will kill the sugar/carb cravings you have and keep you full for hours.  For those that want to reap the benefits of this powerhouse but can’t hack the flavor, capsules are a great way to go as spirulina has a very strong taste.  A little experimentation will help you find the way you will most enjoy adding Spirulina to your diet.  Here is a recipe to try:

Spirulina Chips

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons spirulina
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 3 tablespoons Bragg’s Liquid Aminos

  2. Cover baking sheets with parchment paper. Place potatoes on the parchment paper and toast in the oven for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove and let cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Mix all spices thoroughly in a bowl. Sprinkle spices over potatoes.
  5. Place back in the oven and bake until crisp, about 30 minutes.
  6. Store in an air-tight container.

Graviola, 10,000 times stronger than Chemo

There is a growing number of articles promoting the health benefits of Graviola nowadays, and numerous studies investigating the same subject. Namely, apart from its innumerate health benefits, it is also reported to have “powerful effects at stopping cancer.”

Graviola tree is found in South America, more specifically, in the Amazon River basin. It is usually about 15-30 feet tall, but packs a strong nutritional punch.

they-said-that-this-fruit-was-10000-times-stronger-than-chemo-here-is-what-they-didnt-tell-you

Its fruit has a delicious custard-like texture and a striking, “spiked melon”- like appearance, but most of the best health benefits are actually found in the leaves and bark. Hence, the Graviola tree bark and the leaves have been consumed in healing teas by the Amazon natives for thousands of years to treat ailments ranging from arthritis to parasites and liver issues.

Graviola, also known as soursop, is believed to be “10,000 times stronger than chemotherapy” at killing cancerous cells, which basically positions it as the answer to one of the most devastating diseases of this era.

While these magnificent possible cancer-killing properties of Graviola have been disputed by government agencies, this popular Amazon superfood is proven to be offering a wide variety of other benefits to help protect and boost your health. Some of these are the following:

-Support for your entire immune system

-Help in stimulating blood circulation within your system

-Highly active antioxidant compounds, offering protection against aging
-Assistance in draining the lympathic system

Graviola’s properties which boost the immune system have been approved by the FDA, which is not the case with its anti-cancer effects. Moreover, the government agency asked websites which published information about the anti-cancer effects of Graviola to remove those claims or they would face stiff penalties.

Even though the FDA doesn’t agree with anti-cancer studies that show Graviola’s potential for selectively targeting and killing cancer cells within the body, a great number of people continue to take it for that purpose. Furthermore, there is much independent research on Graviola’s purported anti-cancer effects. Unfortunately, there are no long-term human studies on Graviola for cancer and other diseases it is believed to be effective against.

Purdue University’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences conducted the biggest and most comprehensive study on the anti-cancer effects of Graviola, which investigated substances in the tree called annonaceous acetogenins.

This research cost the university millions and it eventually gave some promising news: the compounds were shown to be powerful at inhibiting the growth of cancer cells, while remarkably leaving normal cells along. These compounds from Graviola were also found to work against drug-resistant cancer cells as well.

The FDA and those who question the study point out that these were in vitro results, done on cancer cells in test tubes and not in clinical trials.
Nevertheless, it is a fact that Graviola is a powerful natural medicine, so before you decide to use it to help you achieve your health goals, you need to consult your doctor first.

Organic Graviola Supplements

Graviola has a long history of use as a complementary natural medicine as it offers a ton of healing potential.

Nevertheless, the most potent forms of Graviola are those that are wild-crafted, meaning they were grown in their typical natural surroundings and harvested in the wild, rather than in large monocultures. One good company to buy Graviola from is RainTree, as they have been researching the herbs for years and often cited as a popular source for information on Amazon Rainforest herbs and healing plants. Another such company that offers wild- crafted Graviola is Amazon Therapeutic laboratories.

However, we must point out that this article is for informational purposes only and should not be taken as medical advice. At the end of the day, the best way to take Graviola is under the care of a naturopathic physician who has utilized it in their practice before.

CANCER KILLER – Natural Cancer Cell Killer 10,000 Times Stronger Than Chemo!

The Sour Sop or the fruit from the graviola tree is a miraculous natural cancer cell killer 10,000 times stronger than Chemo.

Why are we not aware of this? Its because some big corporation want to make back their money spent on years of research by trying to make a synthetic version of it for sale.

So, since you know it now you can help a friend in need by letting him know or just drink some sour sop juice yourself as prevention from time to time. The taste is not bad after all. It’s completely natural and definitely has no side effects. If you have the space, plant one in your garden.

The other parts of the tree are also useful.

The next time you have a fruit juice, ask for a sour sop.

How many people died in vain while this billion-dollar drug maker concealed the secret of the miraculous Graviola tree?

This tree is low and is called graviola in Brazil, guanabana in Spanish and has the uninspiring name “soursop” in English. The fruit is very large and the subacid sweet white pulp is eaten out of hand or, more commonly, used to make fruit drinks, sherbets and such.

If there ever was a single example that makes it dramatically clear why the existence of Health Sciences Institute is so vital to Americans like you, it’s the incredible story behind the Graviola tree..

The truth is stunningly simple: Deep within the Amazon Rainforest grows a tree that could literally revolutionize what you, your doctor, and the rest of the world thinks about cancer treatment and chances of survival. The future has never looked more promising.

Research shows that with extracts from this miraculous tree it now may be possible to:
* Attack cancer safely and effectively with an all-natural therapy that does not cause extreme nausea, weight loss and hair loss
* Protect your immune system and avoid deadly infections
* Feel stronger and healthier throughout the course of the treatment
* Boost your energy and improve your outlook on life

The source of this information is just as stunning: It comes from one of America ‘s largest drug manufacturers, the fruit of over 20 laboratory tests conducted since the 1970’s! What those tests revealed was nothing short of mind numbing… Extracts from the tree were shown to:

* Effectively target and kill malignant cells in 12 types of cancer, including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreatic cancer.
* The tree compounds proved to be up to 10,000 times stronger in slowing the growth of cancer cells than Adriamycin, a commonly used chemotherapeutic drug!
* What’s more, unlike chemotherapy, the compound extracted from the Graviola tree selectively hunts down and kills only cancer cells.. It does not harm healthy cells!

The amazing anti-cancer properties of the Graviola tree have been extensively researched — so why haven’t you heard anything about it?

One of America‘s biggest billion-dollar drug makers began a search for a cancer cure and their research centered on Graviola, a legendary healing tree from the Amazon Rainforest.

Various parts of the Graviola tree — including the bark, leaves, roots, fruit and fruit-seeds — have been used for centuries by medicine men and native Indians in South America to treat heart disease, asthma, liver problems and arthritis. Going on very little documented scientific evidence, the company poured money and resources into testing the tree’s anti-cancerous properties — and were shocked by the results. Graviola proved itself to be a cancer-killing dynamo.

But that’s where the Graviola story nearly ended.

The company had one huge problem with the Graviola tree — it’s completely natural, and so, under federal law, not patentable. There’s no way to make serious profits from it.

It turns out the drug company invested nearly seven years trying to synthesize two of the Graviola tree’s most powerful anti-cancer ingredients. If they could isolate and produce man-made clones of what makes the Graviola so potent, they’d be able to patent it and make their money back. Alas, they hit a brick wall. The original simply could not be replicated. There was no way the company could protect its profits — or even make back the millions it poured into research.

As the dream of huge profits evaporated, their testing on Graviola came to a screeching halt. Even worse, the company shelved the entire project and chose not to publish the findings of its research!

Luckily, however, there was one scientist from the Graviola research team whose conscience wouldn’t let him see such atrocity committed. Risking his career, he contacted a company that’s dedicated to harvesting medical plants from the Amazon Rainforest and blew the whistle.

When researchers at the Health Sciences Institute were alerted to the news of Graviola, they began tracking the research done on the cancer-killing tree. Evidence of the astounding effectiveness of Graviola — and its shocking cover-up — came in fast and furious….

….The National Cancer Institute performed the first scientific research in 1976. The results showed that Graviola’s “leaves and stems were found effective in attacking and destroying malignant cells.” Inexplicably, the results were published in an internal report and never released to the public…

….Since 1976, Graviola has proven to be an immensely potent cancer killer in 20 independent laboratory tests, yet no double-blind clinical trials–the typical benchmark mainstream doctors and journals use to judge a treatment’s value — were ever initiated….

….A study published in the Journal of Natural Products, following a recent study conducted at Catholic University of South Korea stated that one chemical in Graviola was found to selectively kill colon cancer cells at “10,000 times the potency of (the commonly used chemotherapy drug) Adriamycin…”

….The most significant part of the Catholic University of South Korea report is that Graviola was shown to selectively target the cancer cells, leaving healthy cells untouched. Unlike chemotherapy, which indiscriminately targets all actively reproducing cells (such as stomach and hair cells), causing the often devastating side effects of nausea and hair loss in cancer patients.

…A study at Purdue University recently found that leaves from the Graviola tree killed cancer cells among six human cell lines and were especially effective against prostate, pancreatic and lung cancers…. Seven years of silence broken — it’s finally here!

Alkalize Your Body and Fight Disease With These 10 Foods

The balance in life is essential, and this is also true about the diet you consume, and the pH levels in your body.

Namely, in order to maintain health and prevent numerous ailments, the body needs to have balanced ph levels. After the consumption of acid-forming foods, the body releases alkaline-high minerals, like magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus, in the attempt to balance the pH level of the blood.

Therefore, if our diet is poor in these important, alkaline-forming foods, the body will need t use the minerals in our organs, teeth, and bones, and thus lead to exhaustion, and a weakened immune system, making us more susceptible to diseases.

Acid-forming foods are meats, fish, most grains, fast foods, beans, dairy products, and processed foods. Hence, a balanced diet when it comes to Ph consists of 20-40% acid-forming foods and 60-80% alkaline-forming foods.

Here below we reveal some of the best alkaline-forming foods, and you should consider incorporating them into your daily diet in order to strengthen your system and avoid numerous health issues.

  1. Ripe Bananas

The consumption of unripe bananas may lead to acidity in the stomach, constipation, and poor nutrient absorption. On the other hand, ripe bananas with brown spots will provide numerous minerals, vitamins, and will alkalize the body.

  1. Asparagus

Being one of the most potent alkaline-forming foods, with a pH of 8.5, asparagus is also loaded with minerals, vitamins, water, fiber, and antioxidants.

  1. Avocados

Despite their delicious taste, their pH level is 8.0, so they effectively neutralize acidic foods. They can be added to your salad, guacamole, sandwiches, and much more!

  1. Broccoli

It is a highly alkalizing food, high in important nutrients and fiber, and it will maintain the alkalinity of your body, and will keep you full longer.

  1. Garlic

Spice your food up and neutralize acidic foods, like eggs, cheese, meat, and fish. In this way, you will also consume numerous nutrients and fiber.

  1. Almonds

Almonds and almond milk are also one of the best alkaline foods, and they will enhance the function of the brain, help digestion, reduce cholesterol levels and promote a healthy balance in the body.

  1. Lemons

Even though lemons have an acidic taste, they are powerful alkalizing substances. You can squeeze some lemon juice or add a few slices in your bottle of water and drink it all day long.

  1. Watermelon

With a pH of 9.0, watermelon is also deservedly on this list. It is loaded with minerals, vitamins, and water, which support the balance of electrolytes. Moreover, watermelons are high in fiber, so they are great for detoxification of the body.

  1. Organic Papaya

Papayas promote a healthy digestion, and they are rich in minerals, water, vitamins, and fiber, so they enhance the overall health. They are also a powerful alkaline-forming food.

Frozen Lemon Technique Could Fight Malignant Tumors in The Body

Lemon is recognized as the most famous food around the world, due to its numerous health properties, and its versatility in the kitchen. The lemon juice has a very particular taste and concentrates a lot of nutrients and antioxidants essential for the proper functioning of the body, so since ancient times it was a component in hundreds of recipes and remedies.
Lemon strengthens the immune system and slows the action of free radicals to prevent the development of different diseases. An important part of the lemon nutrients are present in the peel. The peel contains a higher concentration of antioxidant compounds and essential oils, which, according to a recent study, could be beneficial to face cancer treatment.
As we said above, the antibiotic and antiviral properties of lemon have been recognized for years. These are able to slow the action of various microorganisms that cause infection and disease. Moreover, it has also been proven to be an effective treatment for worms and parasites, in cases of high blood pressure and for various nervous disorders.
Furthermore, recent studies discover lemon’s anti-cancer effects that could support the treatment of different types of this disease, taking an even more positive impact than chemotherapy.
According to data from the Organization Australian, ‘Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization’ (CSIRO), the whole lemon fruit can reduce some cancers by up to 50%.
In particular, it is estimated that a lemon whole may contain up to 22 anticancer agents, which include:
  • Limonene
  • Citrus pectin
  • Flavonol glycosides
  • Vitamin C
Namely, by having alkaline properties, it alters the environment and prevents cancer that proliferates in the body. The lemon extract has a powerful effect against cancer cells, since it is able to destroy them without altering the ‘normal’ ones, which is one of the main problems of chemotherapy.
More than 20 research studies proved that lemon compounds known as “limonoids”, present in large quantities in this citrus, are responsible for giving its anticancer power, especially against cells that cause breast cancer.
Surprisingly, it was even discovered that lemon is up to 10,000 times more effective than Adriamycin, a drug used worldwide as a chemotherapeutic treatment to stop the cancer from spreading.
Once more, the best of all is that, unlike drugs prescribed for cancer treatments, the extract of this amazing fruit does not destroy the good cells, so it is completely safe for use.
“Limonoids” would also have a positive effect on the treatment of:
  • Pancreatic cancer
  • Prostate cancer.
  • Liver cancer.
  • Colorectal cancer.
  • Neuroblastoma.
  • Lucemia.
Frozen Lemon Technique Could Fight Malignant Tumors
In order to benefit from the anti-cancer properties of lemon, you should regularly consume it, without extracting its peel and juice.
Recipe:
  • In order to feel the effects from lemon in anti- cancer causes, you should also use its peel, after you freeze the lemon.
  • Start by washing and disinfecting the fruit, using a little lemon water with baking soda or apple cider vinegar. This is very important, especially when the fruit’s origin is unknown.
  • After cleaning, refrigerate it and leave it there until it gets hard and dry.
  • Next, take it out of the fridge and use a food grater for its peel and frozen pulp.
This remedy does not have the same effect as lemon juice alone. Actually, lemon juice has amazing properties that are valued in many areas of health, but when it comes to cancer, its effects are not sufficient, so you will also add the required nutrients contained in the peel.
It is where most of limonoids and other antioxidants are in high concentrations, and they are responsible for reducing and eliminating different types of malignant tumors.
For cancer prevention, consume at least 150 grams of lemon per week.

pp

I love pomegranate, it’s a wonderful fruit to incorporate into your diet because it can help reduce brain inflammation and protect against Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

After extracting the delicious aryls, do you normally throw out the pomegranate peels, right?

So did I, until I discovered their potential to help keep you healthy and happy.

During the late nineties scientists discovered the health benefits from the discarded part of this extremely beneficial fruit.

Chief amongst these discoveries were the substantial benefits you can derive from using pomegranate peels, especially in your digestive system.

4 Benefits of Pomegranate Peels

1. They’re a Great Tool to Fight Heart Diseases

Pomegranate peels are loaded with antioxidants. As their name might imply, antioxidants are extremely effective at eliminating oxidation from LDL cholesterol.

If your LDL cholesterol accumulates too much oxidization, it will eventually wreak havoc in your cardiovascular system, leaving you vulnerable to most heart diseases.

When it comes to antioxidants, I’ve felt that you can never get enough, especially if they come from a completely natural source.

 2.They’re Packed with Vitamin C

Vitamin C is an integral part of a healthy holistic diet. Its health benefits cover a lot of areas in your health, ranging from improving your immune system, your cardiovascular system, preventing prenatal health complications, avoiding wrinkles, and reducing your chances of developing ocular diseases.

Pomegranate peels carry enough vitamin c to render vitamin pills or tablets obsolete. This is perfect because we’re trying to base our diet’s needs on completely natural sources.

3.They’re an Effective Form of Detox

Remember the plentiful antioxidants that could help your heart? Well, here’s where they shine again. Pomegranate peels pack enough antioxidants to make them the perfect natural detox you can get your hands on.

If you ever feel the need to detox, be it to keep it in shape or if you feel like you want to spoil yourself, pomegranate peels make the perfect detox tea.

So without further ado, here’s pomegranate peel tea recipe that’s the perfect addition to your healthy diet.
